A.P.T. CreatioNZ now once again has Maise Moses baskets!

They were being sold under our 'made it baby' label, but since it's closure they have returned home to their roots here at A.P.T

These Moses baskets are handmade off shore using high quality maize fibre which is then ultra heat treated for added protection. I then dress the baskets with a 100% premium grade NZ wool mattress and handmade quilted liner, both made in New Zealand.

I know first-hand how important it is to know your precious bundles are safe when they sleep. Moses baskets can help achieve this and may prove to be one of the most important baby items in the early months.

• Versitility and Mobility: sit it next to the bed during the night, and go wherever you go during the day. With the advantage of being able to move baby from room to room without waking them, you can even carry the whole basket out for night feeds.
• Better for baby: Studies show it is damaging for babies to sleep for long periods in a car seat capsule as it puts uneven pressure on their spine and organs, the moses basket is the perfect solution. Take it to visit friends and family or when away on holiday, This is ideal for any situation.
• Helps with transition phase: use your moses basket to get baby adjusted to sleeping in their own room by putting it in the cot. Baby feels snug and secure in a familiar bed, with the smells and feel they have become used to. As their eyesight improves they will adjust to the room they see when they wake, so after time, as they grow out of the basket there will be a smooth transition into their own cot.
• Measurements: The baskets inside measurements are 71cm x 32cm base, 22cm high side at head end and 18cm high at foot.
• Mattress: Made with a premium grade 100% NZ wool inner and a cotton cover.
• Liner: also has a premium grade 100% NZ wool inner and cotton cover - which has been sewn in place for added safety and to prevent sagging.
  This liner is unique in its versatility - it doubles as a cot bumper pad when baby outgrows the basket. Not only is this practical and cost effective, but it also helps baby in the transition from basket to cot. The familiar pattern and smell etc makes the new stage more comforting.
